
This course intended to serve as a textbook for learners as well as a reference guide for educators who want to provide their degree-related, English-speaking classes to students.
Our aim in developing this work is to offer a thorough study of all the core subjects for a master's degree in Science and Technology of Physical Sports Activities (STAPS) in a single "book." 8 stand-alone units make up the course (vocabulary, listening scripts, and chapters 1–8). Every chapter has readings that are relevant to the subject, real texts, auditory comprehension exercises, and terminology from English to Arabic.
Chapter 1 : Studying at University discusses the major areas of the academic sector, including the
institution organization, academic degrees, academic personnel, instructional methods, and assessment. The chapter also includes information on the grading systems.
Chapter 2 : Sport and Physical Education: The Key Concepts, provides a description of sport as well as various perspectives from which it might be classified.
Chapter 3 : Concept of Classification and Divisioning in Sports provides a complete breakdown of the categories into which sports are classified, adopting the conventional approach of classifying sports as Olympic, non-Olympic, recognized, and extreme.

Chapter 7 : Principles and practices of teaching and training, focusing on general principles of training and class leadership. It also explores the role of the coach or teacher and different coaching styles.

All chapters feature authentic texts from various sources, including textbooks, journals, and study guides, incorporating new media resources.
Each chapter includes recordings of natural English conversations related to the topic, providing models for speaking and pronunciation. Additionally, there is a special section with audio scripts.
Sport Studies, Fundamental Terminology in English combines video, audio, images, and text to enhance vocabulary, listening skills, and speaking practice. The course is suitable for intermediate students and above, intended for classroom use but also beneficial for self-study.
